FLASH SUPPORT INFO
First…. Thank you Adobe!! Your customers and our community appreciate
the fact that you looked at what was best for them and Opening up the SWF
and FLV specs goes a long way at spreading the Flash love even more so then ever before.
LIMITATIONS
- At this time we will only support the Flash Container (FLV)
- Don’t look for CorePlayer to play the files ‘within’ a webpage
(it will however play linked FLV content and open CorePlayer).
Embbedded support will come by early next year with v2.0 of
CorePlayerX/CorePlayer API integration.
- We will not support ON2’s VP6 as an embedded video codec anytime soon
if at all. If the demand warrants it we will look into the possibilities but till then…
SWF
This is where we are taking a stand back approach. We will likely include
SWF support at some point… but are looking at the options of either using
the upcoming Adobe Runtime and or…. creating our own from scratch via
the newly released SWF specs.

Speed-Cam provides a speed camera warning program for the Nokia N95
phone and other suitable Symbian Series 60 3rd ed phones. It is designed
to operate in the background (e.g. whilst using Nokia Maps or in standby)
and popup to the foreground with an audio visual alert,
then return to the background.

Due to the restrictions imposed by Symbian Signed,
the installation process is a bit tedious.

A suitable speed camera data file is required. A dummy file speedcam.txt
is provided to illustrate the required format of the file. For the UK,
a good source of up to date files is available at Pocket GPS World -
an annual subscription is required to obtain the relevant file
(pocketgps_uk_sc.csv).

An old pocketgps_uk_sc.csv file that can be used to try out the application
is available free in the downloads section.

This application has only been tested on an N95-1 running V21 firmware
using both the internal GPS and an external BlueTooth GPS,
but should work with other Series 60 3ed phones that support Location Based Services.

Nokmote is after all, intended to play games on your phone,
and better in landscape mode.
But you can use it for menu navigation, web browsing...
but it's not the first aim of this app.

To play a game with Nokmote:
- Launch Nokmote, and bring it to background
- Keep your phone in the original position. In original position,
no keys are simulated. You can define this position in Options -> Calibrate
- Press the hotkey to activate Nokmote
- Tilt your phone left, right, up or down to simulate joypad keys.
Keeping your phone tilted will simulate a long key press
- Push the phone quickly away from you to simulate a 'Ok' key
- To deactivate Nokmote press the hotkey.
