TextQuick is a small application for your S60 mobile phone. TextQuick provides a quick way for you to text your best friends and family. It ranks everyone in your phone book by how popular they are. This means it's always easy to find the people you text the most. My aim in creating TextQuick is to make using the phone more pleasurable.
Installation help
TextQuick is a self signed application. This means that when you install the application your phone will ask you if you really want it. Some phones have the option to install applications already turned off. If when you install TextQuick you see a message like “Certificate Error. Please contact the supplier.” then you need to turn this option on. It's really easy to do and takes no more than 20 seconds. I've provided a set by step guide here.
Running TextQuick
When TextQuick starts for the first time it works out who you text the most, by scanning through all your text messages, both those you've sent and those messages you've received. Depending on how many messages you have in your inbox this could take a minute or so. But don't worry it saves all this information so that next time you start TextQuick it will be up and running in about two seconds. TextQuick updates it's list of who it thinks are your most popular text friends every time you start it. If you've not used TextQuick in a while it might take it a second or two to check it's list.
